  • Today’s Tragedy Tomorrows Nightmare: There is 4% Wildlife — 96% Humans’ & Cattle On Our Public Lands, How Long can We Ignore It?

    “We can look at the statistics — and good science, which many of us can read and interpret correctly. The fact is we are talking about only 4% of animal life, wildlife, is on this planet, the other 96% is humans and livestock. . . Yet we blame, that is, the hunter trapper rancher i.e. supposed conservation groups blame, the 4% of wildlife for all the destruction, over-population, and the dynamic of a requirement to be managed, as a tool. This tool they speak of is to outright “KILL” wildlife.

    The assumption, statically, is “. . . well, if there are enough Elk and Deer to kill, and other “Permit” wildlife; So, there must be a lot of other wildlife out there . . . As they never give stats on the “other wildlife” other than supposedly seeing them — which is contradictory as well.

    Then we go to the facts, study after research study, and we find a large percent of adults, i.e. in America, do not read well, or do not understand what it is they read — at between 42% to 48% of American Adults over 18 years of age.

    Now we can go to who it is that explains all the non-sense of conservationists, i.e. hunter and trappers, pay for conservation of our lands — this is untrue as well, and well supported, yet ignored by hunters and trappers . . . as 72% of Lands conversation is paid by federal taxpayer dollars — and the information posted on this site as well, several times.

    Many researchers have broken-down the monetary factors of where the Permit Money goes, per state — and it often stays in the state expenditures (see state budgets, for example, we do). There exists a large difference between Special Interest Data and Reality-Data. Hunter Trapper organizations give out Propaganda, most often originated via Advertising Agencies or PR Firms, with non-credible research consolidated with their propaganda. Facts many hunter trappers fail to understand, or realize it even exists . . . Many have to have things explained to them — so you get the rendition of those who make money from hunters and trappers, rather than the actual reality.

    So do not post your propaganda crap on this site, as those of us here can spot propaganda easily (and the repetition of it), as well as define what is going on within a Natural Habitat, as we are out here 24-7. . . We see the trash piles from hunters and trappers in the middle of the woods, or the quads and atv situations, that destroy entire areas within the woods — as those types of comments will simply be deleted, due to erroneous material being quoted, and left unproven.

    I would suggest, from what I have seen here, in the comments, that many of those people making the comments do not read well. Your attempts at intimidation and smart ass remarks, and coercion, just show us how correct we are, and the reality of the situation in direct conflict with outright ignorance and ignoring those realities for the excuse to take your guns and other toys into a natural habitat, and destroy it — as we see quite well just by waking through the woods, and often.

    Approach Ignorance with Common Sense

    “It is time to get rid of the abuse, the bias, the bigotry, and the related fear, that apparently generates abuse and torture of Wolves (i.e. Wild Horses as well as other Keystone Predators and hooved mammals, the same — Hunting permits do not give people the right to torture and abuse anything they run across in the hunt-areas — time to limit guns to those who can handle them responsibly) and unnecessarily killing other wildlife as well. . .

    Getting to the point we are only seeing lies, and simply bad excuses, to kill any wildlife — due to so much mismanaged wildlife and under-populated wildlife; in truth, killed to extinction. The fact is, Wildlife in general are very much under-populated.

    E.g, The best examples are when Permit-Oriented Wildlife Managed, deer, Elk, et al.,, they establish densely populated permit-hunt animals in specific areas, to satisfy State Budgets and hunters. . . Which many assume, ridiculously, that, the same applications of population controls and monitoring, applies to all wildlife being densely populated — But in reality, forgotten are the remainder of Wildlife that needs no managing, and many swiftly becoming close to Endangered, or worse, going — or — gone extinct.

    Then the general public, who are not available to go out and see the wildlife populations, and lack of, in the mountains, the forests, and on the ranges, are told “. . . wildlife are all over the place . . .” (yup, ya cannot make up some of the explanations and excuses, that stupid people say, yet, we hear often) . . .

    The system needs changed, as currently it is too antiquated for the required sophisticated data and science and research needed today, due to many factors . . . yet ignored.

    The fact is the good ol’ boy network, the hunters and trappers, and the ranchers, among others who have no idea about what conservation is and required today, should not be placed in decision making administrative circumstances today. . . Special interest decision making, is primarily what is destroying our Natural Resources, as well as our Lands and Wildlife.

    EXCELLENT EXAMPLE: The constant lies of Fertility Controls Necessary upon our Public Lands — The lies about required Fertility Controls and Management Tools for Nature, is a good example of the tremendous lies that have developed from very bad science (i.e. over-population when no over-population truthfully exists), and very bad and untruthful paradigms generated, from it all.

    No credible numbers or percentages, often never given, because — unless there is an official research situation, or, specified population count, done truthfully, credibly, and scientifically interpreted credibly, and with evidence, under way — the wildlife are never counted correctly.     Mammals:

  • Overpopulation Lies Convenient for Exploitors, Destructive to our Wilderness Areas and Wildlife

    When we started to look at a few research papers, as well as technical reports, et al, in regard to wildlife and wilderness areas, we found many severe errors — A lot of obviously misinformed and misinterpreted information.

    Especially from those associated with exploitation of wildlife, e.g. wild horses, wolves, bears, mountain rams, and the list goes on. Basically we found 95% of the over-population discussions and data, to be outright lies. The data as well as swayed-statistics, conflicted directly with the resolutions provided. Worse, they were paid for by many organizations or government entities, or non-profits, that quite obvious, assumed profit over truth — sacrifice over sustainability, and formed severe disinformation campaigns from their lie-dynamic of presentation.

    We can honestly implicate several lobby groups, for example, ranching, hunting, gun manufacturing, oil and gas industry, trapping, and many organizations that tell the public they are “Conservationists”. . . Or, non-profits that state they are “Saving” Wilderness and Wildlife, but involved within the same profit-based dynamic as many others, who merely remain Exploiting Wildlife and Wilderness areas.

    Yet the wilderness areas or lands in discussion, are suffering, some destroyed, and directly related to today’s awkward terminology of “Conservationist” lies. E.g. Over hunted, over fished, some wildlife near extinction, other necessary wildlife beneficial to wilderness areas killed, until not enough left to fulfill their benefits given by them, directly to Ecological Areas. The list goes on and on.

    Rather than go into lengthy detail, the very foundation of “Conservationist” is established on a lie. The same with their “Harvesting” terminology to cover-up they “kill” a lot of wildlife unnecessarily. Harvesting means replenishment, which is a direct conflict to “killing” something, either almost to extinction, or to extinction.

    There is extensive evidence showing global wildlife populations are declining, and claims of overpopulation are largely misleading, and often outright lies, from government and other exploiters of both wilderness and wildlife.

    While some localized instances of species overabundance can occur, the claim of general wildlife overpopulation is a persistent misconception that is directly contradicted by decades of credible and truthful scientific research.

    Evidence for wildlife decline:

    Major conservation organizations report staggering decreases in wildlife populations:

    Massive global decline:

    The World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Living Planet Report 2024 found a catastrophic 73% decline in the average size of monitored wildlife populations between 1970 and 2020.

    Vertebrate species are in free-fall: The declines are observed across mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, and reptiles, with freshwater species experiencing the worst drop (85% decline).

    Mass extinction event: This sharp and rapid decline has led the vast majority of ecologists to conclude that the planet is in the midst of a sixth mass extinction event.

    The idea that wildlife is overpopulated stems from a few factors & sources:

    Localized examples: Certain species, particularly white-tailed deer and geese in some areas, can have overabundant populations due to the eradication of their natural predators. This is an exception, not the rule, and is often misconstrued as a widespread phenomenon.

    Media misinterpretation:

    Headlines have sometimes wrongly suggested that the decline numbers reported by organizations like the WWF mean a specific percentage of all individual animals have been lost. The numbers, however, refer to the average decline across thousands of monitored populations.

    Animal farming and pets: When considering total animal biomass, humans and their domesticated livestock now account for 95% of the total mammal biomass on Earth. Claims of wild animals “spiraling out of control” often overlook that the vast majority of commonly consumed animals are artificially bred for human use, not reproducing in the wild.

    Misleading blame: Some have used the idea of wildlife overpopulation to justify practices like hunting or to deflect blame for biodiversity loss from human activities.

    The primary threats to wildlife populations are all linked to human activity

    Habitat loss and degradation:

    The conversion of natural land for agriculture, cities, and infrastructure is the biggest driver of wildlife population decline worldwide.

    Over-exploitation:

    Excessive hunting, fishing, and poaching, including the illegal wildlife trade, are emptying forests and oceans of animals, especially large species.

    Climate change: Rising temperatures, changing weather patterns, and the disruption of ecosystems, such as coral reefs and polar regions, threaten numerous species.

    Pollution:

    Pollution from pesticides, plastics, and other industrial waste is contaminating habitats and poisoning animals. Fertilization Management and Experimentation on Federal Lands and Public Lands.

    Invasive species:

    The introduction of non-native species, often through human travel and trade, can devastate local wildlife populations.

    Quite obvious, until we deny the circumstances of outright lies, to essentially promote exploitation and profits within related organizations that aspire to profits, all the while sacrificing and killing our wildlife and wilderness areas, sustainability nor improvements within any environmental landscape, will lack the benefits of Nature. Human Kind is simply not responsible enough, today, to be honest about the things that need to be accomplished.
