“When do we say, “Enough is Enough! Stop the Corruption?”
The Oregon Cattleman’s Association pushed a bill through (2024 – 2025) the State, to pay up to $25,000 additional, for Wolf Kills, in the State, of cattle. This in addition to other State & Federal Subsidies, already a priority to them, and in the $-Millions yearly (i.e. USDA & DOI Statistics 2000 to 2025).
It’s about time a few questions be answered, in the matters of . . . Rather than the obligatory and misinformed, “We’re feeding the World” and it’s “Our Heritage and Right to do it however we do it.” We have evolved, and things have changed. Necessities have changed. And the use of Our Public Lands to run Commercialized Livestock, has changed, tremendously.
The Wolf-Kills, a small in comparison to many Rancher’s neglect of livestock and bad management, is an astounding ratio of — Rancher Fault/Neglect “to” Wolf Kills, a statistical-ratio of 2,318 to .002 (statistical data gathered from data obtained from the USDA/DOI/BLM as Cattle-Death by Rancher Negligence to supposed proven Wolf Kills 2015 to 2025 via Rambet PhD Data Scientist – Biostatistics) — This is costly to taxpayers, especially when combined with destroyed State and Federal Lands at taxpayer expense (i.e. Desertfied Lands now at 84% Soil turned to Dust, in reality). Yet, ignored in total.
One again we see the cattle industry obtain taxpayer money, unnecessarily, when simple and responsible management (if their land was at issue, et al. or their bank account) could have been accomplished, via common sense. But they call it subsidies, or ??? — But we have serious questions . . . And we demand Transparency, more than ever before in Our Nations History.
CASE IN POINT: We asked a legitimate question, “Did the cattlemen caught red-handed turning in non-related Cattle-Deaths as Wolf Kills (in this case, Hides from cattle frozen to death while being turned-out in the winter months into the mountains of Eastern Oregon, died from Winter Freeze, well documented and proven in Court), pay back the money they stole from Oregon State Taxpayer’s previously. After all, the Courts in Oregon Ordered it all to be paid back? Up to this point in time, no record shows it being paid-back what so ever — One Rancher in Eastern Oregon caught (in the example above), and owes the State $480,000.00. This is close to what the others owe, but the most extreme. This Rancher still receives your taxpayer money as a subsidy, and obtains & maintains large profits today, yearly.
Interesting. Our Public Lands being destroyed, SACRIFICED IN REALITY, to the point of unusable!
Truthfully, for a 1.6% overall production of domestic beef Product & Sales in the United States from the Public Lands Grazing Permit Program (i.e. the 11 Western States, so Oregon Public Lands Beef not on any scale of concern toward beef production, nor “feeding the world”), we find the corruption far more serious, than any type of necessity toward “Feeding the World” so they say — to coverup the corruption.
Yearly throw-away of beef products is anywhere from 18% to 24%, and higher in previous years. So the small amount of beef that comes from Public Lands (i.e. Grazing Permit Program) is not even on the “usable-beef” radar!
For many years now, the Ranching Community has been using the Wolves, and Wild Horses as Scape-Goats, to coverup the destruction that a serious overpopulation of Cattle generate Yearly.
Obvious, the necessity of Transparency, and the neglect of Regulatory Measures to prevent such destructive situations, are ignored by government agencies, as legal remedies exist, but never used — Yes, the Responsibility to Over-See the expenditures of Government Tax Paid Money, simply, not accomplished.
And yet, taxpayers pay for Ranchers’ underline costs, often at 100%, to do daily ranching business. Yes, Taxpayer’s, cover their operational costs, on both their private lands and cattle, and their excess cattle on Public Lands . . . When we look at the yearly profit margins for these inappropriately managed businesses (Rambet PhD, BioStatitician, et al.), we see the Cattle Industry in Oregon for example, i.e. Federal Ranching Subsidies Programs, blatantly corrupted.
In this article, not included, is how Rancher’s Nationwide will use “Drought Situations” Falsely, to collect Insurance money. Some are honest, but a high percentage of Rancher’s are not. The same with Flood Damage. . .
The Reality — Commercial Ranchers run their Cattle on Public Lands — via a Public Lands Grazing Permit. We observe their entire commercialized effort, as well. We find, through observation combined with statistical-data, precisely, the “overpopulated cattle” from their land, run on Public Lands — simply destroys Public Land, rather than their land. And this is what they call, “Livestock Management.”
Combined, their entire operation is taxpayer-supported . . . With little to no attributes toward Transparency of this situation . . . Nor any type of regulatory situations to safeguard taxpayers against Corrupt Behaviors. How nice — For Them Anyway.
We call it “Organized-Mooching”, and yet, all the more the Taxpayers of this State have to Sacrifice, for politics and corrupted industries; in which, we always have to cover via taxpayer money, and make believe everything is okay.
What is needed? More regulatory guidance toward Ranching Management, and oversight to create an honest industry; rather than, keep paying for corruption, and different ways to go about it.
America’s Wildlife as well as American Taxpayer’s, first and foremost the priority. Industry like the Cattle Business, is not a priority here in this State, as Public Lands Grazing Permit Programs simply do not supply enough products to be subsidized what so ever. The fact is, taxpayers ultimately pay for their entire operation (on their Private Lands as well), in quite a few circumstances.
We see greater needs for taxpayer money, other than giving subsidy money to them. Business needs to be separate from government, precisely. A system where government and big business partner for mutual profit is called Corporatism — which is a key part of Fascism.
For example, we need to feed people in our state, and the beef products we subsidize, simply not being produced within enough quantity, to do so — their statistics are straight up lies most often, commercialized jargon and disinformation campaigns — as the industry simply too corrupted, and does not uphold integrity as any type of motivation to accomplish independence from government subsidies.” — John Cox, M.A. C/M
